my clothes are not in my apartment.
A funny story.
As I realized I had forgot my laundry at the laundry mat, I rushed downstairs and flew out the door to catch the place before it closed. As I skated back up to my apartment, as soon as I saw the door, I instantly knew I had forgotten my keys. It is midnight.

the L to the 1

I just moved into a new place for a little while out here in NY. It is right across the street from Tompkins Sq. Park. Its pretty simple, but spacious for out here and has great lighting due to the big windows and the skylights in the roof. Hopefully will shoot in here soon. Haven’t really been too creative on the photography front really recently. Been concentrating on writing a story for what will hopefully be my first feature I direct. Really excited. So bare with the boring photos. Click for more.
ghost bike
UPDATE:
The homegirl Sage just sent me a link with an explanation HERE. Sage is also a great photographer. Check out her work HERE.

On the way home today I say this bike and at first had no idea what the story was behind it until I read the sign after I put the photos on my computer. The sign reads “In 2008, at least 14 bicyclists were killed in New York City. This Ghost Bike is a memorial for all those whose deaths never made the news.”
Im not sure if this is a city sanctioned thing, but its pretty cool, and I like how they refer to it as a ghost bike.

I am going to start publishing exposure info with photos that I post on here from time to time.

monitor.
The article I shot for the Christian Science Monitor (no its not some whacko religion pushing publication. It’s actually very highly respected amoung journalists) was published, both online and in print. Check the online one HERE and read the full story. Click HERE if you want to see the rest of the photos I shot for the article that were not used. Its a good read and curious to see what other peoples opinions are.
It was fun, even for an hour.

I went to Philadelphia for the art show I had a photo in, and to meet someone that I will hopefully be shooting soon.
“Fuck NY This is Philly Pussy” And those are definitely blood smears. More after the break.
bud. weis. er.
Here is a behind the scenes video I did for a Budweiser commercial for the cool guys at Gargantuan Films. The commercial is at the end of the video so stick around and watch it.
p.s. I have no idea why the video is such shitty quality when embedded in the blog. It looks better when you watch it on vimeo’s website. I will try to fix it.
