a vacation from vacation.
Finally we got in the water for some surf on Friday. It was a couple feet overhead on the sets at Maria’s. It is a point break/reef break kind of set up. Peaks all over, predominantly rights, with some fast lefts with air sections.
Saturday we kicked it at this spot called Crashboat with a bunch of weekender Puerto Ricans that were wilding out. Pretty funny.
This was taken from the balcony of the place we are staying in in Rincon.

Although we got some really fun waves at Maria’s on friday, we didnt have anyone to take pictures.
Below are some photos though of the spot Crashboat. Little shoulder high waves that break right off this jetty/pier thing. I had a normal shortboard, but for some reason I was enjoying riding this really shitty softtop board. Probably cause it didnt hold as large of consequence if I accidentally hit one of the dozens of people that were swimming at the end of the wave on the inside seeing i didnt have a leash.
Here is a photo of Dylan taking a photo.
One too many photos of myself.
Dylan Kawahara took this with my Fuji cause I sat on her Polaroid and broke it. Its probably my favorite so far from the trip.
After crashboat we drove around a little bit and checked out this secluded little beach for the sunset.
Dropped off Dylan and Nathalie at the airport and afterwards checked out a cool stretch of beach called Wilderness. Following photos are from there.
Scraggly puppy. No those are spots on its coat, those are all these really intense open sores all over its body. Sucks.
Stripped, burned, and vandalized.
I will be back in NY on tuesday. Till then, I have an intense sunburn that needs attending.
