I am back. The place that offers barrel after turn after barrel and solitude. Uluwatu, Bali 2009.
Click for photos of transit, etc…
This was my itinerary: LAX at 2:45pm. 13 hour flight to Tokyo. 1 hour layover in Tokyo. 7 hour flight to Singapore, Malaysia. 15 hour layover in Singapore. Then finally a 2.5 hour flight to Denpasar, Bali. Why havent they invented teleporting systems yet? I hope when they do, they dont charge for surfboards…
One big ass plane. Double decker.
Kinda was digging this composition. And was also a bit confused as to when exactly that theoretical emergency hatch would come into play.
The airport was littered with people just like me…
They have full hotels, spa’s, massages, lounges etc… in the singapore airport. I just opted for the shower. The Singapore airport is probably hands down the more immaculate airport in the world. There are workers walking around 24/7 whose sole purpose is to hand paint scratches on the walls, clean every little corner of the place. Not to mention, you will get caned if you just chew gum in the city.
Finally arrived in Bali. Welcome!
And alas, the first sunset from the villa. Fishing fleet on its way out.
